Lies and the Christian.

Lying is pretty easy to do. We’ve all done it, even though we like to think we haven’t. We just tend to prefer more palatable terms, such as how we told “a little white lie”—as if the color or size could change the sin. Or maybe instead of a lie, it was just telling a “half-truth”—as if a mathematical component can eliminate the grievance.

Trust me—it can’t. At the end of the day, lying is a sin no matter how hard we try to dress it up and make it cuter.

People who tend to lie habitually have probably never been severely burned by lies. They don’t realize that the fire they’re playing with is downright lethal to relationships and to trust—not to mention their integrity and reputation. They can brush it off as “no big deal” or say, “it’s not hurting anyone,” all while not realizing that their very character is on the line.

In our culture today, lying has sadly become one of those sins that’s dismissed as mild, if recognized at all. Bending the truth to fit your own purposes is so common now that it’s almost always overlooked as a sin.

But the Lord doesn’t overlook it. It might be surprising to some that one of the ten commandments (Exodus 20:16) is about lying. “Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor.” This commandment actually covers all forms of lying, whether it’s to someone directly or about them to someone else. It includes verbal lies, manipulation, slander, deceit—and as we know, our neighbor is anyone around us at home, church, work, or otherwise. There’s no escaping this black and white commandment.

Have you ever wondered why with some Christians or those who claim to be a Christian it seems easier for them to lie just like the world or just like the secular people of the world no difference.

Well the answer is very clear there's a demonic spirit in them ,and they're fighting there flesh and they truly know not God or God does not dwell within them , and the truth is very hard to come forth from them , and that is why . Here is proof coming straight from Jesus Himself.

Listen to what Jesus says here in this scripture about them and there father the Devil.

John 8:44 (KJV).

44 Ye are of your father the devil , and the lusts of your father ye will do . He was a murderer from the beginning , and abode not in the truth , because there is no truth in him . When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own : for he is a liar , and the father of it.

That they're the children of there father the Devil . For they couldn't speak the straight complete truth even if they wanted to .The lie always comes first ,They have to mix it up (sounds familiar) .That's the work of the Devil to make the lie sound like the truth .The strange thing here or about this is that you'll find of lately is that both people of the world , and those so called Christians are now more then ever are starting to believe a well dressed lie , and the naked truth they do not believe.

Now that is a mixed up situation , and the devil is , has and been using Christians to do his dirty work within the body of Christ for a long time , and we who are the true Christians have to start to be able to see , and know these false Christians by getting into the word of God , and read that the truth will always set you free always.

And ye shall know the truth , and the truth shall make you free.

Children of God watch , and pray for the devil is at hand . Maybe you do not recall in the scripture . Lies from the devil was one of the major tactics.

That he the devil used to divide the 1 third of the heavenly host as they turned against God or 1 third of the angel to his side by saying that God was unfair,and by doing so they believed , and turn against God and sided with him how sad.

You can read this in Revelation 12 :7-17, but we'll focus on verse 7.

Revelation 12:7 (KJV).

7 And there was war in heaven : Michael and his angels fought against the dragon ; and the dragon fought and his angels,

This only goes to show or to inform us of how powerful lies can be , and Jesus is/was completely aware of the damage and destructive power of a lie and it's cause and what it does.that is why He (Jesus) was very clear in John 8:44 earlier in this post of the father of lies , and the damage he can cause.

This is why we have to be on our guard when we hear other brother , and sister coming up with a lie , and rebuke them to tell the truth for they're suppose to be part of the body of Christ which is light , and when they do start to lie there 're not in the light , but in darkness , and the light is not in them Check out this in Luke.

35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

See here we're being cautioned to be on guard or to be careful of the lies or these wrong done in the body of Christ by false Christians that seem to have no problem at all with there fables

1 John 2:4 (KJV)

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar , and the truth is not in him.

We cannot get any more plain than that if you or we claim to know God /Jesus Christ , and this is the Behavior then it's clear Christ is not in this person or persons.

This sounds just like the Devil."Amen".
