Which are you Christian or Child of the King most high ? This is important to know and understand. "My favorite term and phrase " for many just go with the program , and who cares right ? Wrong!

The name Christian is a man made name given to those who followed after Christ. The first recorded use of the term is in the New Testament, in Acts 11 after Barnabas brought Saul (Paul) to Antioch where they taught the disciples for about a year, the text says that "the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch" (Acts 11:26).

The word Christian is used three times in the New Testament: Acts 11:26, Acts 26:28, and 1 Peter 4:16. The original usage in all three New Testament verses reflects a derisive element in the term Christian to refer to followers of Christ . My issue here with this is that many want to be called by this name , but there character and way of life do not reflect the name at all , so are they what they say they're ? The world would say no for they cannot see Christ in these followers, but it's up God to judge here and not me or them.

Is Christian a biblical name? Christian is a name of Latin origin that means "follower of Christ." The name was first used in the New Testament of the Bible to refer to early Christians. Interestingly, it may have been used derisively at first – but Christian quickly became the preferred term for followers of the young religion. There we have it , and now "Child of the King most high"

What does it mean to be a child of the Most High God? It means you are a daughter / son of the King of Kings, a holy princess/prince with strengths and abilities to be used in His kingdom. It means that you are a cherished member of God's royal family, given access to the fullness of His love and provision.

Psalm 82:6 "We are all children of God.", " Galatians 3:26-29 "I am a child of the most High God.", Hosea 1:10 "they will be called 'children of the living God.", Matthew 5:9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.", John 1:12 "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God .

What does the Bible say about being a child of the King? Because of who Jesus Christ is, and because He is my Savior and my Lord: I am a child of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, seated with Christ in the heavenly realm. I am chosen, accepted, and included – a citizen of heaven and a member of God's household.

Ya! this sounds just about right ,but we can choose which name makes us comfortable . As for me " Child of the King most High".
