The word . What is this word that He Jesus gave in John 17: 14 to His disciples ? He Jesus also ask for their protection from the evil one in John 17:15 . This is a serious matter for Jesus the son of God requested of God to protect the 11 that were with Him at the time for the 12th disciples that would replaced (Judas) was not chosen yet , but the request was to cover him as well.


Did Jesus know something that the rest of the world was going to find out soon and very soon did He know about the works of the devil , and how he the ( devil) was going to wreck havoc to get the word of God out the world , and from mankind , so that he alone should be worshiped? Did he know that the devil would try to kill steal, destroy John 10:10,Luke 22:31,1 Peter 5:8 the children of God ?


Did Jesus know that the devil would come into the church and mix up the word of God with lies to deceive the very elect ? Even thou Jesus asked for the disciples to be protected they still died a horrific death at lest 11 of them did , but the scripture says in Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

So it's fair to say that the 11 died a death of honor they gave there lives for what they believed in the gospel , and that is the Holy word of God.The gospel teaches us that we do not own our self. It was only given and lent to us by God. We are reminded to avoid self- preservation and return everything to our Creator.

For God is creator of all . and all is created by Him and for Him , but that still does not mean that all is for Him .
