Can the devil play mind games with you before you’re close to getting some sleep or in your sleep meaning hearing voices that are trying to tell you something?

A B S O L U T E L Y ! ! This is exactly how he and his demons work. They attack a persons mind and thoughts, and move on from there. This is a serious issue that needs to be taken care of, because it just wont ‘go away on its own’.

This is happening to you because:

You may have opened a door to satan (and his demons) by dabbling in occult practices, or by believing in false religions (and taking part in rituals or practices thereof), or, worshiping satan.

You may have demon(s) attached to you because of opening a door, OR, due to: mental illness, some type of addiction, sexual sins, holding un-forgiveness, hate, bitterness, anger ect;, generational sin (sins in your family line ie; ancestors).

You may reject, deny, hate, or purposely rebel against the God of the triune (father, son and holy spirit).

You believe in Jesus, but have no relationship with Him, and therefore you’re living an ungodly lifestyle.

The dwelling, or land where you live, (or objects IN your home) may have demons attached to it/them (items you’ve bought or have been given from relatives/friends, or garage sale/thrift shop items)
You have to figure out what you did to let demon(s) in. You also need to know that demons do not just ‘leave’ on their own. They need to be cast out by a person who has had a very solid and strong relationship with Christ—and Jesus is the only way they will leave. This is a complected and lengthy process, because of so many various ways demons can come into a persons life.

You may need to undergo inner healing if you’ve had a hard life that included abuse, if you’ve had addictions, or have been or are involved in sexual sins (porn, prostitutes, adultery, deviant sexual desires, etc;). Hardcore Christianity Inner Healing & Deliverance.

You may need deliverance: This is the activity of cleansing a person spiritually, from demons that are the root cause of oppressing a person. Hardcore Christianity.

The dwelling/land/objects need to be removed, destroyed, blessed and/or prayed over.

Renunciation of satan, or false religious beliefs/practices and any involvement with the occult (occult involvement is a long and arduous list).

Occult involvement includes (this is a limited list, as this area is numerous!):

horoscopes, yoga, tarot, divination, automatic writing, palmists, psychics, seer’s, mediums, spirit guides, new age religion, ouija, watching horror movies/shows or looking at images, belief in reincarnation/ghosts, watching ghost hunting shows, spirit boxes, satanic practices, satan worship, evil music/groups, demon worship, sexual shows/movies/porn/acts/behaviors/objects, kiddie porn/pedophilia, bestiality, all kinds of abuse, possessing or looking at evil objects/images on tv/pc, (sometimes masturbation and lust)…and more!

Satans mode of communication is via suggestability. Keep in mind he is not human he is spirit. Like the wind you can't see him and you can't touch him but you can feel his effects. He temps you by cultivating your sinful desires. The more you give into these things the more you start manifesting his image and likeness (he was the angel who covers - ie influences, leads others). You ultimately become so consumed that you become like a puppet on a string. This is the way of our adversary called satan or devil, derived from evil.

Thankfully we are not powerless against him. We have a spiritual Advocate who is much more powerful and influential. The trick is for us to remain focused. To remain steadfast and self-controlled and allways seeking his face, his help and comfort when we find ourselves being tempted.

Keep in mind twice satan entered into Judas and the only one who notice was Yeshua in the upper room.

If you hear voices ensure to test them with scripture before believing anything they say. Test them using 1 John 4:1 New International Version (NIV)

1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

After this you’ll know if you’re hearing from the devil or from God.
